April

Planning - April 3

Planning to go over the next 3 months

​

Chain Mail - April 10

Caelan will be leading the group in making chain mail bracelets.

​

Geocaching - April 17

The group will go Geocaching on the Shearwater Flyer Trail (Caldwell Rd side) from 7pm - 9pm.  We will also be doing Bring A Buddy night as well.​

​

Scout Trucks - April 24

We will meeting with a Hobby Group who will be helping with the tools needed for the woodworking.

​

May

Tent Setup - May 1

We'll be setting up tents in the gym in preparation for upcoming camps.

​

Hike with Penny Stoves - May 8

We'll be going for a hike (location TBD).  We will be taking our penny stoves with us and making something to eat and make some hot chocolate.

​

Clean Up - May 15

We'll be heading into the community to do a clean up

​

Fantasy Camp Prep & Gear Check - May 22

We'll be doing a final review before Fantasy Camp of the rules and costumes.  We'll also be doing a gear check to make sure everyone has everything needed for camp.

​

Fantasy Camp - May 24-26

Scouts will meet at Camp Harris at 7pm to set up for Fantasy Camp.  Pickup time to be determined.​

​

Escape Room - May 29

Scouter Cindy will be leading a group in an Escape Room night.  Cubs to join us.

​

May

Mantracker - June 5

Mantracker to be played around the school and area.  Cubs to join us.

​

Fishing Night - June 12

We'll be meeting at Morris Lake at 6pm until 8pm for a night of fishing.  All of 2nd Cole Harbour will be invited.  For anyone over 15, you will need a fishing license.  If you do not have a fishing rod, Scouter Robert has extras.

​

Water Fight Night - June 19

This will be our year end party.  We'll meet at Camp Harris at 6pm for Pizza.  Water Fight will start at 6:30pm with the 3rd year Cubs and all Ventures invited to participate in the Water Fight.

Note to Scouts:
Inspection checks for the following:
Uniform (necker and badges with formal uniform)
Staff (Shaved and Scored)
Survival Kit (completed)
Rope
Field Guide
Handbook
Pen/Paper
Behavior
 
All of these items play into the score for Honor Patrol every week and the yearly running total.  If you are missing any items, you are costing your Patrol points.  So as our motto says, Be Prepared.
